Chad and Julie Phillips welcome you to Phillips Gun Dogs! We specialize in raising top quality German Shorthaired Pointers,
full-time training of all breeds of gun dogs, and test handling.

Chad is an avid outdoorsman, whether it be hunting or fishing. He enjoys spending time with his kids outdoors. He has a passion for bird dogs and works full-time training the dogs. He enjoys developing them into finished hunters. Julie is a busy mom of four and works for a local veterinarian. She is an animal lover to say the least. She helps assist in raising, caring for, and socializing puppies, along with daily training and kennel chore needs. Chad has owned German Shorthaired Pointers for over twenty years and they have bred Shorthairs for over eighteen years. The whole family works together on the raising, care, and socialization of the pups. Chad and Julie, along with their four children, work together to make sure each pup is raised and socialized to the highest standard. They have chosen to test their dogs in AKC hunt tests and NAVHDA testing to prove their hunting capabilities and ensure quality breeding. They limit the number of dogs they take in for training at one time, so each dog has the maximum amount of time spent with it to reach its full potential. Chad also offers, in addition to training, handling in tests for owners of the dogs he has trained.
